There are items called lure modules, with which these PokéStops can be equipped. The function of PokéStops is to provide players with items such potions, berries, eggs and Poké Balls. There are features like PokéStops and Pokémon gyms in the game. Once it has been created, the avatar is shown on a map using the current geographical location of the player. It is to be noted that the game supports other purchases for extra in game items and add-ons.Īfter creating a game account, the player is required to create his/her own avatar. This actually makes it look like a real world based game. They would appear on your mobile screen as if they are in the same location as that of the player. In this game, the players are required to use the GPS of their mobile devices in order to locate, capture, fight and train the virtual creatures known as Pokémon. This game is a result of collaboration between Nintendo and Niantic which was initially released in selected countries in the month of July, last year.
